Students Working in Canada


According to rules and regulations of Canada, it is must that international students should have enough money to live and study and also to fulfill all other expenses and don’t need to work while you are studying. International students should ensure that they have the funding level that is required by the Immigration and Citizenship of Canada and is always required before you enter Canada.

International students should have enough funds with them so that they should not expect any work to fulfill their expenses and costs. It is also very important to consider the academic demands of your programs that are prior to participate in employment opportunities in Canada. Students who are not Canadian citizen or are not on Permanent Resident visa must have work permit with them that helps them to work in Canada.

When ever international student finds a work in any firm or company then the employer has to give prove that there are no Canadian citizen or Canadian Permanent residents that are suitable for this position and it come under the rule of Foreign Worker Regulation. Actually this process is done through HRSDC that stands for Human Resources and Skill Development Canada. On the other hand there are some other types of special exemptions that are mostly applied to international students that came to Canada for study.

According to rules and regulation students that came under the employment act are guaranteed permissions to work in Canada without needing confirmation from HRSDC. There are some types of procedures to work in Canada and students can get on campus and also off campus jobs. There are many types of programs in Canada for international students.
