Dual Education System in Germany

With in the limit of dual system more than 60 percent of young people learn about their profession which is actually a vocational education and training system. This system is actually known as Dual system because the vocational training takes place in the part time vocational schools and also in company. In the company system the apprentice system receives practical training that is usually supplemented by the theoretical instruction that is provided in the vocational schools.
In Germany there are around 350 state recognized training occupations for students. Usually the period of training two to three years and is also concluded by state examinations. Most of the employers mostly expect for the secondary school graduation programs and the level of the student’s degree depends on all the requirements of the occupation that meets their field of study. Actually Dual education system is based on the statutory regulations and is administered by German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
