Geography of the Germany

Germany is basically a country which is well known because it is considered as one of the industrial and economical power holder in the Europe. The population of the Germany is more than 81 million and has a geographic size of 1, 39,000 square miles. The capital city of Germany is Berlin and other cities include Munich, Hanover, Hamburg, Nuremburg, Bremen, Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.

 

There are Alps in the Southern end of Germany and has the highest mountain ranges in Europe. There are Harz Mountains in Germany which are located in the central Germany. The farm land of Germany is very good because of many rolling plains. Actually the Rhine River is the main waterway for transporting all type of goods from their northern ports and is located in the western part of Germany. Germany is also well known because of its precision workmanship which is demonstrated in many different ways.
