Test of Punjab Public Service Commission 2012
Punjab Public Commission was established in 1937. Its functions are defined in the constitutions of 1956 and 1962. On the creation of one unit Commission as renamed as West Pakistan Public Service Commission prior to July 1, 1970 and the dismemberment of the unit was re-appointed to the Punjab Public Service Commission.
The Commission has the authority to appoint employees to various posts under the Government of Punjab. Punjab Public Service Commission is established in accordance with provision of resolutions of 1978 and the Punjab Public Service Commission (Function) Rules 1978. The Commission has the status of a special institution and is under the administrative control of S & GAD Government of Punjab.
Now Competition test (PMS) has been offered by the Punjab Public Service Commission which will start from 6th July 2012 in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan according to the given schedule.
