The main objective of this institution which was formed in 1977 is to provide medical education to the cadets all over Pakistan. When Army Medical College started its operations it had affiliation with Quad e Azam University but from 1998 the Army Public School got itself affiliated with National University of Sciences and Technology and it continues to be an affiliate of this university. The location of Army Medical College is Abid Majid Road, Rawalpindi. The courses offered in the Army Medical College are for the selected cadets:
Cadets doing BDS of 4 ½ years and MBBS of 5 years
The Eligibility criteria for the cadets in order to get admissions in BDS or MBBS are as follows:
The requirement related to the education of the cadet seeking admission in the above mentioned fields is that he should have opted FSC Pre-Medical in either board of intermediate or secondary education have a total of 60% marks in FSC as well as in Matric.
The minimum age limit for the cadet applying in MBBS or BDS is 17 years and maximum limit to apply is 25 years.
The required height of the male candidate is 162.5cm and female students should be 25 years old.
