University of Queensland Australia MBA Women Scholarships 2016

For those women who want to study MBA in Australia, University of Queensland Business School is offering women scholarships for them.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates should have bachelor degree with minimum GPA of 4.5/ 7 point scale while GPA in overall IELTS is 6.5 that include minimum: writing 6, reading 6, listening 6 and speaking 6.

Course Level: For studying of postgraduate MBA degree program, scholarships are available.

Study Subject: For studying master degree in the field of business, University is offering scholarships.

List of Subject: Masters in Business Administration

Scholarship benefits: For a maximum period of 24 months, 50% discount on tuition fee will be provided to the successful students.

Scholarship can be taken at: Australia

Nationality: these scholarships can be applied by international students, permanent residents of New Zealand and Australian.

Entrance Requirement: A bachelor or equivalent degree with the GPA of minimum 4.5/ 7 along with four years works experience (minimum two year full-time work experience) after graduation.

Test Requirement: the completion of Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with minimum score of 550 is necessary for the international applicants.

English Language Requirement:  the UQ’s English language proficiency requirements must be met by the candidates.

The score of the candidates must be equal to four semesters of Sound Achievements in Queensland Studies Authority international, Australian or English equivalent.

In International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent test, candidates must have minimum 6.0 score in each sub-band and 6.5 score in overall.

Supporting Material: following documents must be submitted by the applicants:

• A CV with evidence of work experience.
• Two written references related to work and must satisfy the MBA Director.
• Official record of previous studies.
• Evidence related to residency status.
• If candidates are taught in an institute where English is not the instruction language then they have to pass IELTS and/ or GMAT test.

How to Apply:

Applicants should be eligible to receive an ‘unconditional’ offer for MBA program admission (including work experience, GMAT and English Language proficiency) and they must submit an application for entering MBA program.

In less than 1000 words, personal statement must be provided by the applicant which should include:

An explanation the reason to start the MBA program at UQ Business School

Describe the value they can bring to their fellow MBA students and MBA program

Explain and outline their career goals in long term.

Provide evidence of their community involvement and leadership qualities

Two written references including a character reference and an interview (in Australia or via video)

The applications of scholarship and application for admission in MBA program should be submitted separately by the candidates.

Application Deadline: 31^st May 2016 is the last date to submit scholarship application while classes will commence in July 2016.
