University of Veterinary Offers Postgraduate Diploma in ‘Food Safety and Controls’

Lahore, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore is offering admission in the Postgraduate Diploma course in “Food Safety and Controls” which will be carried out under Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition.
The main objective for the introduction of this postgraduate diploma is to impart education to the people in the field of food safety. This diploma will give awareness and provide knowledge to the candidates for generation and economic progress of the community.
The university has introduced this diploma with the assistance of European Union funded Trade related program for Technical assistance. This program has been incorporated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization with the help of WIPO and ITC. The inauguration ceremony for the introduction of said program will be celebrated tomorrow in the conference hall of UVAS in which all relevant representatives of the concerned departments will participate.
