UVAS Conducts Training Workshop on May 13

Lahore, A joint training workshop of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore and Jackson State University is going to be conducted for six days from May 13 to 18, 2013. The training workshop will be comprised of data collection, statistical software training, experimental designs, analysis methodologies, manuscript development, interpretation of results and grant writing.

The joint project of Pakistan and America, “Establishing a Biostatistical Consulting Center in the country” is holding this training workshop. During the training, the participants will be provided the advanced Biostatistics in morning and afternoon and they will be provided training on the statistical software packages like SAS 9.2, SYSTAT13 etc, to every one through consultation on research data and text progress.

The candidates, who want to attend this workshop, should send their applications for training to Dr Habib ur Rehman and Mr Muhammad Bilal till April 30, 2013 on their email addresses. The classes will start from May 13 and will be carried on till May 18, 2013 from 9 am to 5 pm at the venue of Biostatistical Consulting Center Computer Lab or the conference hall of the UVAS University Lahore. the University will not charge any registration fee to participate in this workshop.

The University invited the students, academics, Faculty staff or the post graduate students to attend this workshop. The faculty staff and graduate students are specially invited to attend this training workshop, which will enhance their knowledge and expertise.
