41,000 Candidates Appear in UET Entrance Test

Lahore, University of Engineering & Technology Lahore offered admissions in various disciplines of Engineering and Technology. A lot of students submitted their admission forms in various disciplines for which entrance test was conducted on this Sunday. About 41,000 students participated in the test which was held on various test centers.

The test was arranged at University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, UET Taxila, NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research Faisalabad, College of Engineering, Islamia University Bahawalpur, College of Engineering BZ University, Multan, Siddique Public School Rawalpindi, University of Gujrat, NED University Karachi, UET Peshawar, Dr. AQ Khan Institute of Technology Mianwali and Kala Shah Kaku campus of the UET Lahore. The university has declared that there are only 5000 seats for BSc Engineering.

On the other side, about 5500 students have been appeared in the test for 500 seats of BSc Engineering Technology. This test was also conducted in various institutions of technical education including UET Lahore, Dr A Q Khan Institute of Technology Mianwali, Government College of Technology Faisalabad and so on. All the tests have been completed in a peaceful atmosphere and no unlawful incident has been reported.

The administration has also declared that the result of the said test will be announced on September 20 which can be seen on the web site of the university.
