Actually the country which is known as New Zealand is country of island which is in the western Pacific Ocean. New Zealand has two main landmasses that are North Island and South island and also has many numerous small islands in it. The country of New Zealand is actually situated in the east of Australia with having round about 1500 kilometers distance. According to the history of world New Zealand is country which is well known as the last Land in which humans settled.

The land of New Zealand is mostly covered with forests and its very sharp mountain peaks owe much to the uplift of the land. From 1250-1300 AD Polynesians settled the islanded country New Zealand and also developed a culture which is well known as Maori culture. In the year 1840, the Maori and British signed a treaty and made New Zealand a colony of the British Empire.

New Zealand is a country that had enjoyed their highest living standards in the world when it was the mid of 1950’s. The country also underwent many different economic changes in the start of 1980 which help it to transform from a protectionist to the liberalized free trade economical country. Actually majority of New Zealand population is of European descent.

The best which is seen in the language of this country is that the language of New Zealand Sign, Maori and English are actually the official languages. The culture of the New Zealand is basically derived from the settlers of Maori and early British peoples. Actually the culture of the country has been broadened by globalization and also by increased immigrations that were immigrated from the Asia and Pacific Island.

The country of New Zealand is well organized into regional councils of 11 and also 67 territorial authorities for the purpose of the local government. The head of the state is the Queen Elizabeth II but it is mostly represented by the governor general. New Zealand is also the member of the Pacific Island Forum, United Nations, and Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and also member of the Commonwealth of Nations.
