Applicants for Teachers’ Hiring Still Waiting for Response

Karachi, Sindh government advertised some vacancies in the education department in April and it was extended by one month and upto 20th May in which the government announced that the applications are required from the candidates for teaching. The Sindh Education and Literacy department received more than 200,000 applications against 18,248 teachers in their primary, junior and high schools.

The concerned department more applications from the education department and their number was risen to 700,000. Initially the process fee was set as Rs.300 for each candidate but after the interruption of the provincial education minister this fee was reduced to mere Rs.30. the reform support unit of the education department called proposals or suggestions for conducting the written test of the candidates from various agencies. Then they announced that they are facing some financial and some other problems and they are in process of finalizing these matters to finalize the deal with the top two bidders

It was hoped that the RSU department has computerized all the applications and they will conduct the test and finally appoint the teachers but it seems that all the process is going to be delayed for some time.
