MCAT test is conducted for the candidates, who pass their intermediate class exams in pre-medical group and apply for grant of admission in the medical college or university. When the students submit their application for grant of admission in the MBBS or BDS classes in the medical institutes, the concerned medical college or university conducts their admission test, which is based on the books of the inter class medical level and the students have to get maximum marks in the entry test. The students have to study their books at the FSc level in the pre-medical group.
The University of Health Sciences Lahore is responsible for grant of admission in the medical colleges located in Punjab Province. UHS receives the application forms from the candidates from all over the province and conducts the admission test of the eligible candidates during the month of June to July. The students, who qualify in the MCAT test, they can get admission in the respective college or university without bothering that they get admission in any of the medical college. UHS conducts the admission test of the candidates in big cities of the Punjab like:
- Rawalpindi
- Faisalabad
- Lahore
- Multan
- Bahawalpur
- Rahim Yar Khan
The students are informed to reach in their nearest city to appear in the MCAT (medical college admission test). The students will have to provide some necessary documents when they appear in the MCAT test.
