China Education System


The education in China is actually state run education system which is run by the Ministry of Education. In China it is must that every child should attend school for at least nine years. The government of China provides education for six years to up to 12 to 18 years. Some Chinese provinces also have five years primary schools and three years of high school. According to the Ministry of Education the attendance of primary schools is 99 percent and the attendance of both the primary and middle schools is 80 percent. In the start of 1980, the government of China allowed the establishment of the first ever private schools in China.


The country of China actually has major expansion in their education system and increased the number of undergraduates. In the year 2003, China also supported more than 1552 institutions of the higher learning and also supported their professors which were more than 7, 25,000 and their students which were 11 million. The spending of the Chinese has grown by 20% per year from 1999 and now reached over US$ 100 Billion. In the year 2006, there were round about 1.6 million students of science and engineering that were graduated from the universities of China. There are many things that make the Chinese education the best from others that are:-
