Computer Lab and Library for Blind Female Students in Lahore

There is special quota in the educational institutes of Lahore for the blind students but they are not provided with the required facility. Kinnaird College has set up a computer lab and library for the students, who did not have eye sight and this college set an example for other educational institutes.
Various blind students are getting education in the BSc (Hons) class in the college in normal way. They prepare their notices, or read the books and they find the facilities to carry on their education but they do not have time writer machine, which can help them in better way to prepare their notices. The students say that if they have writer machine during the exams, then they can be more facilitated.
The college administration told that there are 27 blind female students, who are getting education in different courses. These students belong to other cities and they are getting free education, accommodation and messing. The blind female students say that if other educational institutes get the facilities to the special students, then they can play an important role in the development of the country.
