GCU organized 2 Days Conference on Social Psychology

With the sponsorship of Psychology Department and Higher Education Commission, GC University has started an international conference on ‘Social Psychology’. Social problems will discussed in the conference such as family & ethnic conflicts, divorce, humanity, financial burdens, infertile women and regional identity. The two-day international conference will be attended by 150 famous scholars including Dr. Richard Oliver, a well-known American psychologist and Dr. Aneeq Ahmed from Henderson State University.
Prof (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor GCU Lahore, presided over the conference while it was also participated by Director Research Prof Dr. M Zakariya Butt, Dean Prof. DrIslam Ullah Khan iffat Batool and Dr Syeda Salma Hasan. On this occasion, GCU VC Dr. Rahman said that human behavior is one of the most complicated topics in the world and it become more complex after getting engaged in social relationships. Dr. Aneeq Ahmed’s lecture was about ‘from brain elements to social wholes’.
