HEC Stops Admissions in 4 Universities

Higher Education Commission has stopped the admission process in the 4 universities. The universities, which are located in different cities of Pakistan and they are Al-Khair University, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Global Institute Lahore, Imperial College of Business Studies Lahore and Preston Institute of Management Sciences and Technology, Karachi.

The DG of HEC has issued the notification on the social media and announced the suspension of the admission and the students are advised to avoid taking admission in these universities and they should look for the alternative of these universities.

Degree not recognize

It is also stated in the notification of the university that the Higher Education Commission advises the students not to look for admission in the above mentioned four institutes as the admission process in these universities have been suspended due to their irregularities and mismanagement, which is discovered in their operations.

HEC announced that HEC will not recognize the degrees from these universities or institutes and their affiliated branches or campuses and they check the detail of the officially recognized universities by the commission.

NTC Scrapped for Undergraduate Tests

HEC has also ended the NTC testing scheme for the universities to revamp the whole admission process and the new government body was set up, which is called, ‘Education Testing Council’. The ETC has announced the new undergraduate entry test for the students, who want to get admission after their 2nd year exams.
