Lack of Boarding in GC University Faisalabad

Faisalabad, Government College University Faisalabad has 22,000 students in different disciplines in which the number of female students is about 10,000. There is only two girl hostels in the University in which 300 female students are living where the morning class students pay Rs.17,300 and the evening class students pay Rs.19,500 yearly. About 1500 female students are forced to live in private hostels where they had to pay Rs.60,000 yearly which is a burden on them. Most of the female had to stay with their relatives present in the city. They also have to bear the travelling expenses. The students demanded that they should give the facility of hostel where they can carry on their education peacefully.
