LCWU Issues 5 Malala Yusafzai Scholarships to Balochistan Students

Lahore, Lahore College for Women University has announced that they are going to allocate 5 Malala Yousafzai scholarships to the 5 students belonging to Balochistan.

According to the sources, these scholarships hold hostel accommodation and the academic expenses. Vice Chancellor of the University has also said that scholarship committee of LCWU has positive approach and it is categorizes students who belong to far flung areas of the country. The main aim for issuance of these scholarships is that the students who belong to remote areas of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan and provide them opportunity for getting higher education in the decent and sophisticated educational department and universities of the country. She further added that their University has already gave away about 26 million rupees for the scholarships to the needy and deserving students.

At this time two students are admitted in the University but both students did not apply for the scholarship. She further added that they have adopted uniform procedure of scholarships and they have informed the students for the grant of scholarships to the students and issued necessary instructions to the staff for giving proper information of scholarship to the students who need this scholarship. The Director Students Affairs of LCWU said that they issued scholarship to the students and never refuse the students who actually need this scholarship.
