New Campus Established by LCWU in Kala Shah Kaku

A new campus is going to be opened by Lahore College for Women University in Kala Shah Kaku in Lahore. All the measures have been taken for this purpose along with the pc1 which has been made and sent to the Government.
Several academic blocks, administrative blocks, libraries, auditorium and hostel facilities will be provided to the students in this new campus, as according to some sources. Over 311 million has been reserved for 100 acres of land for the campus, as estimated by the Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Ferozwala.
From the annual budget 2012-13 allocated to the varsity, all the required amount would be taken for this purpose. In the current year, the land will be purchased, and in the next year construction will be started.
In this campus there will be 4 new faculties, 4 new departments and 7 other departments. The new faculties include Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences.
28 new departments will be established under these 4 faculties.
