NTS Conducts Test for Teachers’ Hiring in December

Karachi, Sindh Education and Literacy Department of the Ministry of Education of Sindh Province called for applications from the eligible candidates during April 2012 and the last date was fixed as May 20. The applications were invited against vacant posts of 18,248 teachers for primary, junior and higher secondary schools. The last date for the receiving of applications was extended upto June 20, 2012 and during this period the education department, RSU received about 700,000 applications from the candidates.
The RSU sought cooperation with some agencies or department for the conducting of entry tests for the appointment of teachers against the vacancies. Now the contract has been signed with National Testing System to conduct the written test for the posts of primary, junior and high schools teachers. NTS has announced that the entry test of the candidates short-listed by the Reforms Support Unit for the appointment of teachers will be conducted during December.
