PEF Commences Scheme of Education Voucher in 28 Districts

Rawalpindi, Pakistan Education Foundation is going to start the Education Voucher Scheme in the 28 districts of the province. This is the 10th stage of this Education Voucher Scheme, which is designed for the remote and less privileged areas of the province.
Under this scheme, about 10,000 needy and deserving students will get benefits and the age of the students will be about 5 to 6 years and these benefits will be granted to the poor and needy students till completion of their matric class. Now the total number of students from this scheme will raise to about 150,000 in the province.
The geometry boxes distribution ceremony was celebrated in the area, in which the Pakistan Education Foundation Chairman, Raja Anwar said that government is launching this scheme to provide benefit to the students of the government schools. The teaching staff of government schools of Attock, Chakwal and Rawalpindi attended the meeting.
