Punjab Daanish Schools is the project of Punjab Government, which is started under the vision of ‘Elimination of Poverty through Education’ of the Chief Minister of Punjab. The government of Punjab set up different Daanish Schools in the districts of Rajanpur, Mianwali, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan, Chishtian and Hasilpur. The students can submit their application forms to get admission in the 6^th class and the admissions are granted to the poor, deserving and orphan children, where the government provides high standard of education, residence and food without any charges to the students.

The candidates of Punjab, KPK, Gilgit Baltistan, Sindh, AJK, FATA and Baluchistan can submit their application forms till 05 December and they also attach the school-leaving certificate, three passport size photographs, copy of forms ‘B’ and three copies of CNIC of father with the application forms. The students can get the application forms from the concerned Daanish school (Boys and Girls), concerned Tehsil Deputy District Education Office (men and women) or they can also download the admission forms from the website of the authority. The first entrance test of the candidates will be held on 20 December and the entrance test of the students of other provinces will be held on 27 December in the capitals of their respective provinces, which will be informed to the students later on.

The candidates must fulfill the pre-requisites of the admission in which the boys must have age from 10 to 12 years and the girls must have age from 10 to 13 years. The students, who are studying in 5^th class or they pass primary class, they can be eligible. The total income of the family does not exceed to Rs.6,000 and parents have no property. Daanish School will give admission to only one child in the school and in case of twin, both will be given admissions in the school provided that they meet the requirements of merit. The students of the religious schools are also eligible but they should not exceed to the mentioned age limit. Admission will be granted to the students on the base of their test and interview. The Daanish School act 2010 will be followed at the time of grant of admissions to the students.

The 10% quota is reserved for the students, who will bear their expenses to get admission and get education, which will be Rs.12,000 per month. The students will be given admission and education along with residence, and food to the students during their education.
