Scholarships Award to Matric Position Holders in Chitral

Chitral, A prize distribution ceremony was held at Government Centennial Model High School for Boys in Chitral district in which the students who got top positions in the annual exams of Secondary School Certificate 2012 were given Iqra awards which were being arranged by Qari Faizullah.

The ceremony was presided over by the local leader of JUI Molvi Abdul Rehman and the chief guest of the ceremony was DCO Chitral Rehmatullah Wazir. During the ceremony, the first award was given to the student, Tausif Ahmed son of Qazi Sharif Ahmed student of Broze Public School with Rs.40,000 who got first position with 895 marks and second prize was given to Nighat Tariq daughter of Tariq Mehmood of Muslim Model School Chitral with cash award of Rs,30,000 who obtained 882 marks. Similarly Rs.20,000 was given to the student, Ihtisham ul Haq son of Asmat Wali studying in Orien School Booni who secured 860 marks and stood third in the annual exams.

The students who study in the Government High Schools are also given prizes of cash for getting top position in their annual examinations. First position goes to Ayesha Sultana of Government Girls High School Moldeh who secured 827 marks was awarded with Rs.40,000 cash prizes, Hina Ghani of Government Girls High School Moldeh got second position in the annual exams as she received Rs.30,000 with 818 marks and the third position was achieved by Saima Qayyum who obtained 811 marks and received the cash prize of Rs.20,000.
