Second Phase of Free Technical Education 1500 Students Get Training

Peshawar, The KPK government is going to start the second phase of free technical education for the students of the province who deserve fro the subject courses. The government has reserved fund of Rs. 372 millions for the training which they provided to the Directorate of Technical Education.

The Directorate has already gave the training to about 1500 students of the province during previous year on which Rs.230 million have been spent. In the  second phase about 1500 more candidates will get the training of technical education from the government and private institutions. The government has increased the stipend of Rs.1000 in their previous announced stipend to facilitate the students and meet their expenditures.

The girls will be given training in different 8 technologies and the boys will be given training in about 25 technologies and they will be given stipend of Rs.3000 per month. Initially 1100 candidat4es will be selected for the training and then 200 candidates will be given training for about 2 years. The government will bear all expenses incurred on these courses. The government has also reserved about 1.3 billion rupees for the provision of loans to the candidates who completed their training and this loan will support them to start their own business.
