Sindh Establishes its own HEC

Karachi, Sindh Government is going to establish their own Higher Education Commission for which they have claimed that they are empowered to set up their own HEC under the 18th amendment. For this purpose, Sindh government has also moved a draft bill before Sindh Assembly for legislation and its approval.

This decision has been made in the meeting which was presided over by the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah. It was also told in the meeting that the approval of 18th amendment gave them power to give particular attention to the education sector and being some fruitful changes in the curriculum development, higher education/ Sindh Madrassah tul Islam, Dawood College of Engineering and Technology and HEC.
