UET Peshawar ECAT Entry Test 2014 on Aug 10

Peshawar, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar has decided the induction of the new students in different programs, for which the ECAT test is going to be conducted for the students in the BSc Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Computer Science. The admissions are being granted to the students in all these disciplines under the session of 2014 and 2015.

The candidates are asked to send their application forms and the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA), Khyber Pakhtunkhaw is going to start the Entrance test of the students.

The candidates, who want to get admission in the Engineering department of UET Peshawar, they must have the domicile of Khybwer Pakhtunkhwa, AJK, FATA, Northern Areas (Gilgit Baltistan) and the campuses of UET Peshawar located in other cities like Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu and Jalozai. The admission will be granted on the open merit or non-subsidized, reserved quota or reciprocal basis. The candidates will have to appear in the entrance test and the qualifying students will be provided admission to the students.

The candidates should note the venues of the entry test of the students, where have to appear in the entrance test in different educational boards (BISEs) at Abbottabad, Peshawar, Swat and DI Khan. The test centers are mentioned as under:

1. Abbottabad and AJK center: Ayub Medical College, Gilgit Baltistan Boards

2. Peshawar Center: Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan Boards

3. Islamia Collegiate Ground

4. Cricket Ground (Khyber Medical College Peshawar)

5. Swat Center: Swat and Malakand Boards

6. DI Khan Center: Bannu and DI Khan Boards

7. Federal and Other Boards: To appear in any center

The candidates, who have passed the post-matric three years diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or B.Tech exams with minimum 60% marks, they can appear in the entrance test against the reserved seats in the respective disciplines and the admission will not be granted on the open merit.

The candidates can get the entrance test registration forms online from June 14 and they can submit the registration forms online till 15 July 2014 till 4:00 pm.

The entrance test of the candidates will be conducted on 10 August 2014 at 08:00 am the result of the entrance test will be declared on 12 August 2014.
