UHS Lahore MCAT Entry Test 2015 Schedule

The announcement of the MCAT 2015 schedule has been done by the University of Health and Science Lahore. The tests of MCAT for first Year Students of MBBS/BDS in Punjab and Private Medical and Dental Institute is going to be performed by the University of Science on August 30^th 2015 at 9:00am. On the UHS official website www.uhs.edu.pk the syllabus of Entrance Test 2015 is already available. According to this syllabus from their respective textbooks the applicants should be prepared.

Rules and Regulation for TEST:
(1) According to the Rules and Regulations of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), it is necessary to show up in the Entrance Test of the Punjab for enrolment to any medical/dental college of the province.
(2) The candidates are entitled for the test who has passed Intermediate Science (HSSC/F.Sc) (Pre-Medical Group) or Equivalent Examination, securing at-least 60% (660/1100), No adjusted marks are accepted (without the marks of Hifz-e-Quran etc.).
(3) Those who are carrying foreign qualifications like A-Level or American 12^th Grade, have to present the correspondence Certificate declared by Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

MCAT Test Pattern and Marks detail:
This test is going to include one paper containing 220 multiples-choice questions (MCQs) 4 options along with single best answer separated into 5 sections, which called as Physics (44 MCQs), Chemistry (58 MCQs), English (General for language skill) (30 MCQs), Biology (88 MCQs).

The period of Test is going to be 150 minutes (2½ hours). Every single question contains 05 marks. The Total marks are 1100. In the test there will be Negative Marking. For every single correct answer, there will be 05 marks given while for every incorrect response, 01 marks is going to be deducted from the total marks.

The candidates shall submit following documents with their applications:

1. Attested duplicate of Matriculation/SSC or relevance exam Certificate.
2. Attested duplicate of HSSC/FSc (Pre-medical) or relevant exam Certificate.
3. As well the Computer-generated result cards are suitable.
4. Birth Certificate attested copy which is issued by the Union Council, if the date of birth is not written on Matriculation certificate.
5. Accordingly filled Admittance Cards (both copies).
6. The cards must not be divided. Kindly put 2 colored photos (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm) on the 2 cards.
7. Rs 40/- postage stamps along with one self-addressed A-4 size envelope
8. 4 latest colored Photos (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) of the applicant.
9. One should be pasted on the application form as well attested on the front and other 3 have to be attested on the back, should be attached with the form.
10. Attested duplicate of domicile certificate of the applicant.
11. In lieu of domicile certificate no other documents are going to satisfactory
    Foreign applicants have to present the attested duplicate of their foreign passport in lieu of domicile. Hafiz-e-Quran is required to provide a certificate of Hafiz-e-Quran, declared by a registered Madrassa.
