Up Gradation of 300 Schools in 3 Months
According to PM’s adviser on education reforms Ali Raza, they are working to upgrade 300 schools in government sectors in the next 3 months that will help them to provide better educational opportunities to the students. The adviser said that they have so far upgraded 22 government sector schools where libraries, computer laboratories, halls and play grounds have been provided. He added that 1 billion rupees have already been released by the government while 3 billion further will be provided for educational institutes of Islamabad for their renovation and up gradation.
He further added that number of candidates taking admission in the public sector schools has risen this year due to enhancement in education of quality as a result of steps taken by the government. Raza also told that the up gradation of public schools will include clean drinking water, washrooms, playgrounds, transport, libraries, buses, new computer and science laboratories, well trained faculty, renovated buildings and new classrooms.
