UVAS Signs MoU with Turkish University

University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Turkish Selcuk University. The MoU has been signed between these two universities to promote the education cooperation. Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha of UVAS and Rector of Selcuk University, Prof Dr Hekki Gokbel signed the MoU in the ceremony, which was organized in UVAS Lahore.

Both the universities will share the faculty members for lectures and short-term visits and the students, who want to get higher education, they can attend the universities for their objective and the basic scientific research. They will also organize the seminars and conferences on different topics.

Both the universities will develop the video conference links and they will explore the national and international funding opportunities jointly for the research work. The VC also explained the academic research, and extension of the training programs of the UVAS to the Turkish delegates. He further added that UVAS is working very close to the people and industrial sector having the close association with them to give quality education for the development of the skills of the people.

The VC of UVAS also said that their university has also developed some links with various other universities and they set up the research institutes to give opportunities for faculty members and the aspirants. The Vice President of Selcuk University, Konya Prof Dr M Musa Ozcan and the Agriculture Faculty of Department of Agricultural Economics, Selcuk University, Konya, Dr Mithat Direk were also present there during the ceremony.
