‘IEEE Orientation Seminar’ held by LCWU

Lahore, Electric Engineering Department of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) organized a seminar on ‘IEEE Orientation Seminar’ at IT conference hall on Wednesday.
The main objective of the seminar was to give awareness and know how about IEEE (Institute Electrical and electronic engineering) and create ability among them to open IEEE and become part of IEEE Lahore Seltion and WIE (Women in Engineering) section.
Muhammad Saqib Jameel was the chief guest. He expressed that merits and demerits for IEEE membership and to be in IEEE family and introduce the name of Lahore College for Women University Electrical Engineering Department worldwide. The event was very formal and giving much useful information about electrical and Electronic Engineering and concluded with question and answer session.
He further added that the work has been started over IEEE LCWU student branch and WIE (Women in Engineering) in Lahore College for Women to make connection with the Electrical and Electronic Engineers, experts and Industries all over the world. Dr. Intesar Ahmed, Head of the EE Department, Ms Nousheen Bilal and other Respected Faculty members were also attended the event.
