2012-13 Inter University Football Championship won by PU

On Monday, in the final of All Pakistan Inter-University Football Championship 2012-13, by showing an outstanding performance, the football team of Punjab University defeated the University of Central Punjab by 5-0.
University of Lahore was defeated by COMSAT University Islamabad, for the third position, on penalty by 5-3. In the championship from all the four provinces, the football team from various universities participated.
Because of the encouragement and special attention of Director Sports Prof. Dr. Mansoor Sarwar, this success had been possible, which was told by the players while talking to the media. Because of the revolutionary steps taken by Dr. Sarwar, in PU Sports Department, the capacity of the team has been multiplied, as told by the players. Among the winners, the trophy and cash prizes were distributed later by Dr. Sarwar.
