HEC Extends Application Submission Date till Oct 8

Islamabad, there is a reserved quota for grant of admission to Medical and Engineering colleges for the candidates belonging to Balochistan and FATA by Higher Education Commission. The HEC instructed all candidates living in FATA and Balochistan to submit application for grant of admission to the students in Medical and Engineering institutes for which admission date has been extended to October 08, 2012.
HEC also announced that the candidates who secured 65% or more marks in FSc, they can appear in the test which will be held on October 14, 2012 in all major cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta and Rawalpindi. The entrance test will be conducted by National Testing Services Pakistan for grant of admission in Medial and Engineering Institutes on open merit on self finance basis. There are about 29 seats are reserved for the students of FATA and Balochistan in all medical colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw and 60 seats are available in various engineering universities like UET Taxila, UET Lahore, MUET Jamshoro, UET Peshawar and QUEST Nawabshah on the distribution of 60:40 ratio for Bsalochistan and FATA.
