More Than 300 Deserving Students Receive Scholarships

Peshawar, Islamia College University Peshawar has organized the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Islamia College University. During these celebrations, more than 300 students have been awarded with scholarships. The celebration was held in the Takbir Hall of the University in which the former Government of the province, Lt Gen ( r ) Ali Muhammad Jan Orakzai was the chief guest who distributed pr=izes among students.
The Vice Chancellor of the Universty Mrs. Noor Jahan was also present on the occasion. The chief guest while addressing with the students, said that the students were the future of our country and they will be the builder of our country. They should get education by realizing their own responsibilities as challenge and realize the solution of the problems facing by the people. He emphasized on the importance of the education as the students would lead the country in future.
