On Monday, starting of admissions in the Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) courses was announced by Prof. Dr. Mudassir Uddin, the Chairman of Department of Statistics, in University of Karachi (KU), in Karachi.
From December 3, the process of admissions in PGD in statistics would be commenced, as according to Prof. Dr. Mudassir. Till December 21, the admission forms can be collected from the Department of Statistics, University of Karachi. He further said that those who have passed their graduation level courses from recognized institution, on the merit list, their admissions would be granted.
On the Departmental notice board, on 26th December, the list of successful candidates will be displayed. From December 27 to January 4, 2013, the submission of fee will be completed. He said that From January 7, 2013, classes will be commenced. From 3 pm to 5:30 pm, the classes of PGD Statistics are scheduled.
