Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Starts Diploma Courses 2013-14

Bahawalpur, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur is going to started various diploma courses for the year 2013-14, in which admissions are going to be conducted.

According to the details, the college administration has invited applications from the students for grant of admission in the Postgraduate Medical Diploma courses for the session 2013-14 according to the instructions laid down by the University of Health Sciences Lahore.

The college administration has started admission process in different 2 years diploma programs including Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Child Health, Clinical Psychology, Gynae and Obst, Anesthesia, Otorhinolaryngology and five years degree course in cardiology and Master of Surgery in Urology.

The candidates can collect the admission forms from the office of the principal of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Postgraduate section, Bahawalpur on the cash payment of Rs.100. They should send the application forms in the office of the College till April 30, 2013.The entry test of the candidates will be held on May 18, 2013. The successful candidates will be invited for interview. The government servant should forward their applications for admission through proper channel. The overseas candidates will have to clear the national Examination Boards then they will be giving the NOC for studying in the postgraduate section.

The candidates must have passed their MBBS or equivalent qualification and they should be register with the PMDC and fulfill the requirements as stated above. They should have experience in Pathology as demonstrator for one year, six months demonstrator in Pathology and six months house job in the clinical departments of one of these disciplines like Surgery, Obs/Gynae, Medical). Or they should have two years experience for working in pathology disciplines in non teaching institution and experience of about 5 years from time of application render for grant of admission.

The college is also giving admission in the degree programs of five years in which the candidates must have MBBS degree with one year house job, working experience of one year in the department of Urology/Allied Surgical discipline and General surgery and they should have registration with PMDC. The candidates must have passed the entry test and they should qualify for interview. All those candidates, who have already completed their FCPS/MRCS/Diplomat / equal qualification in General surgery, they will be admitted to the Part 3 and will be considered exempted from Part 1 and 2 of the exams.
