Lahore, National Testing Service is the authorized body to conduct the NAT, GAT General and Subject Tests on the orders of Higher Education Commission. The candidates, who pass these tests, can apply for admission in the Universities and higher learning institutes recognized by the HEC. Now NTS is going to start the GAT Subject Test for the candidates to apply for grant of admission in the PhD programs, which will be held on February 16, 2014. The candidates, who want to appear in the GAT Subject test, can send their admission forms latest by 20^th Jan 2014.

NTS has also made plan to conduct the subject test in the GAT Subject test for the PhD programs in about 59 disciplines. The candidates can also check the detail of the subjects and other necessary information regarding the NTS test from the website of NTS. The candidates can also get the information regarding the test venues, list of eligible candidates, and test dates, which are provided for the convenience of the candidates.

The candidates can download the admission forms and the fee deposit slips of the GAT Subject test from the website of NTS and they can send the application forms till Jan 20. The candidates can deposit the fee in the online branches of HBL, ABL, MCB and UBL. After the deposit of the fee, the candidates can send the application forms with the copy of the deposit fee to the Head office of NTS within due date to avoid any problem at later stage.
