Actually the degree programs of the universities of Germany are the Diploma in the natural sciences, social sciences and engineering and also cultural studies and Magister in languages. The degree of these universities is actually equivalent to an international type of Master’s degree which requires around four to five years of study programs. The members of the EU at last agreed to standardize and to harmonize their university’s degrees in the year 1991. From that time the German universities remain in the process of restructuring their degree programs for students. They have also introduced a number of new Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in the country.
