Actually the German students have the opportunity to pursue the formal job skills training in the US at their younger age. Round about one third of the German secondary population of graduates who are from Hauptschule can apply for US for their studies. They can easily transfer to those training schools that are full time training schools so that they can pursue formal dual track job skills training programs.
Actually these types of training schools are three year paid internship with some classroom instructions. All the graduates of the programs enter the employment market as the specialists technical and labor fields. Many of them open small businesses and some work in the services industry. All these students can easily upgrade their skills by continuing their formal training in the upper level career schools of Germany.
All the graduates of the training programs are also having the option to continue their formal education in the specialized college oriented high schools of Germany that are of grade 11 to grade 13. These students can obtain a certificate that allows the college level studies in any restricted field of the majors in the German polytechnic universities.
