Admissions Fall Short in Government Colleges

Lahore, The annual exams result of Matric class has been declared by the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education recently. There is huge number of students, who have passed the exams and they also got the higher grades in their exams result. The number of government colleges in the city is limit in which about 26,000 candidates can be adjusted. The statistics of the Lahore Board shows that there are about 17,000 candidates who achieved the A+ grade in their result and over 12,000 students passed in the A grade. According to the seats available in the government colleges, only A+ and A grade students can get admission in the government colleges and rest of the students will have to rely on the private colleges and they will have to pay the huge fee for their studies. It is also said that about 80% students will not get admission in the government colleges due to non-availability of seats in the government colleges.

On the other side, the private colleges started their efforts to offer the attractive packages to the students, who got the higher grade so that they can raise the standards of their colleges. On the day of the announcement of the result of the annual exams of matric class, the representatives of the private colleges were also present there with their booklets and brouchers and they  were invited the students to get admission in their colleges. They also offered the scholarships to the brilliant and intelligent students to grant admission in their colleges. These private colleges charge attractive and huge amount in the name of fee from the students.
