AIOU certifies postgraduate study plan to streamline student affairs

The study strategy for postgraduate level in AIOU has been approved by the Executive Council of Allama Iqbal Open University that will be helpful to ease the procedure of examination, admission and mailing for the students of MA, MSC, MPhil and PhD.
According to university’s VC Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui, this step will help to better manage the study and administration of postgraduate degree level programs
He added that soon all the information about postgraduate studies will be available at a newly launched website.
Dr Shahid Siddiqui also told that with collaboration from related departments, the office will check the timeline for main activities of graduate programs. The task of the office is to complete admissions in time, mail the books and result announcement.
The VC also told that the founding of this individual office will improve the quality of higher studies in the university, promote the research based activities and ultimately upgrade the academic ranking of the university. He said that the candidates of higher education will be provided best possible services through the study strategy.
Chairperson of the office Dr. Nagghmana Rashid told that the office has started its services according to the directions by VC. With timely announcement of current semester, the start of this office proved to be quite effective.
