The admissions in Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) for session Spring 2015 from SSC to PhD level in different disciplines will start from 1^st February 2015. These admissions can be taken until 5^th March 2015. The sales points of the prospectus have been set in the main campus along with coordinating offices in whole of the country.

For overseas Pakistanis in the Middle East, the admission forms and prospectus of Matric, intermediate and graduate level programs will be available at the official website of AIOU. The university will send computerized admission forms to the continuing students and will also uploaded at website www.result2014.pk.

The university will offer admission in Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Agriculture Extension, Teacher Education, Computer Sciences, Special Education, Science Education, Educational Planning & Management (EPM) and DNFE.

Admissions in MS will be available in Computer Sciences and Management Sciences while Mphil admissions will be offered in Mathematics, History, Statistics, Urdu, Economics, Teacher Education, Pakistani Languages, Special Education, Science Education, EPM and DNFE.

The admissions in MSC (Hons) will be available in Livestock Management, Rural Development and Agriculture extension while MSC degree will be offered in TV Production, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Sociology, Physics and Statistics.

Master level degree admissions will be offered in TEFL, MLIS, Teacher Education, History, Education, Science, DNFE, Special Education, Col MBA, EPM, M.Com and MPA. The admissions under M.Ed program will be offered in Science Education, Teacher Education, DNFE and Special Education.

The other included programs are PGD in Computer Sciences and Management Sciences, TEFL and EPM, BS in Microbiology and Chemistry, ATTC, CT and Associate Degree in Commerce.

Programs offered under BA degree includes BA (General), Mass Communication, B.Com, BA (Dars-e-Nizami) and BLIS while intermediate programs include FA (General), FA (Dars-e-Nizami) and I.Com. The forthcoming semester also includes Matric short term educational programs and French online program.
