Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad is going to start admission process for the spring semester 2016. AIOU grants admission in the PhD, MS, MPhil, MSc, M.Com, BS programs. The admissions are also going to be given in the subjects of MBA, MPA, MA, M.Ed, PGD, Bachelor programs, Associate degree in commerce, teachers training programs, Intermediate class, Matric, Dars-e-Nizami, Certificate course of Environmental Design, Certificate courses of 6 months, agriculture courses, technical courses, Open Tech courses and short term education programs.

The candidates, who want to get admission in any program or discipline, they can download their admission forms from the website of the university and send it to the university till the final date of 04 March 2016. The students will start their study, when the academic term will be started. The students will get the education through their distant learning program and they will complete their education sitting in their homes. The students will find their study material through post and they will have to complete the assignments, which will be given by the university. The students will also attend the workshops, if the university calls them for certain, which can help them in completing their education. The entry test of the candidates will be conducted from 15 to 20 April and the concerned department will inform their candidates to appear in the entry test. The merit list of the candidates will be uploaded on the website on 30 April 2016.
