AIOU Starts Computer Courses for Youth of Flood Hit Area

Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is going to start six months computer training program totally free for the youth of fold-stricken area of south Punjab.
About 2,000 students of the area will be giving training in four phases. A well equipped laboratory has been established for the said objective at DG Khan in coordination with the American Institute of Electronic Engineering.
This computer training program is inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of AIOU, Professor Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi through video conferencing from the main campus of the university in Islamabad. He also added that University is also working on suggestion for setting up of world level computer training centre in the region.
