AIOU to start programs for overseas students

Professor Dr. Ali Asghar Chishti, VC Allama Iqbal Open University, announced that especially for abroad students the university will start new programs soon.
While talking to media, the AIOU VC informed that the university will start new programs from semester autumn 2014 including LLM, MS and PhD in Shari’ah especially for overseas students. From various countries including Saudi Arabia, Dubai, UK etc, it was demanded by overseas students.
Dr. Chisthi said that almost 600 overseas students can get benefit from these programs in the beginning.
The university is also initiating new programs from spring semester for Pakistani students beside these overseas programs including PhD in Mass Communication and two-year master level program in TV production.
Across the country, AIOU has a vast network of regional centers which is delivering educational serves in Pakistan and Middle East. AIOU is a Distance Education University which is providing education from basic programs to doctoral level classes.
