AKUH Conducts Career Guidance Seminar on Nov 10

Karachi, Aga Khan University Hospital has organized a career guidance seminar for the young doctors on November 10, 2012. The main objective of this seminar is to provide necessary information and guidance to the young doctors about various departments and specialties so that they can choose their relevant specialties and serve the people in a professionally strong and efficient way.

Giving the expert opinion on this seminar, Dr Salman Ghauri who is a consultant cardiologist at National Institute of Cardiovascular diseases, Karachi said that these seminars plays a vital role for providing professionally sound opinion and decision to the young doctor so that they can made appropriate decision for their better future and they can also make more beneficent for their country and people.

The seminar has also presented the program under title ‘How to Plan Your Career’ for the guidance of young doctors. Prof. Dr. Zeenat Ayub, Registrar, Dow University of Health Sciences has chaired the program in which Dr. M Wasay, Associate Professor of Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi, gave the lecture to the participants.

Another program under title ‘Pharmaceutical Sector-Horizon for Young leaders’ was also presented in this seminar which was chaired by Syed Jamshed Ahmed who is COO PharmEvo and visiting faculty SZABIST and IHM-DUHS. Dr. Imran Hamid, the Head of Integrated Account Management at Novartis Oncology has given his expert opinion in the program.
