Among Needy Students, 1000 School Bags distributed by Mobilink Foundation

In the cities of Lahore, and Karachi, corresponding to continuing celebrations of Universal Children’s Day, 1000 school bags have been distributed to the underprivileged students in the cities, by Mobilink, in Karachi.
To extend support to children, who due to financial reasons or social exclusion are deprived of formal schooling opportunities, the initiative was taken under the umbrella of Mobilink Foundation. To hand over the school bags to students at DSRA Education Trust in Karachi and Green Land School in Lahore, the employees of Mobilink volunteers and participated in this initiative, who were the Mobilink Torchbearers.
To both the children of Pakistan and as well as the environment we live in, the initiative is a proof to the Mobilink Foundation’s commitment, as said in the occasion, in his message by the Omar Manzur, the Head of Corporate Communications, Mobilink.
Since 2007, the donations of school bags are the part of a unique initiative undertaken by Mobilink. From advertising billboards of Mobilink and other donating companies, these school bags are made using recycled panaflex sheets, to tailor school bags for children.
