Balochistan Student Clinches Rhodes Scholarship 2012

Islamabad, A student, Rafiullah Kaka living in Qilla Abdullah, a backward area of Balochistan, has been given Rhodes scholarship 2012. According to the policy of the scholarship, every year only 80 students are selected for the scholarship from 23 countries.
Former chairman senate and caretaker President of Pakistan Mr Wasim Sajjad and former US president Bill Clinton also won this scholarship.
Rafiullah Kaka said that the students have to travel for many miles every day to get education as there is only one middle school in their area. He also said that he had eight sisters and five brothers. He completed his education up to intermediate in Balochistan but with the non availability of Degree College or higher institution, he moved to Lahore for getting further education. he belongs to a poor and backward family so his parents could not afford him to get further education.
