The responsibility to conduct GRE type test i.e. Graduate Assessment Test GAT General has been assigned to the National Testing Service (NTS) by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), for the admissions in M.Phil and scholarship schemes of HEC.
For admissions and HEC scholarship schemes, for “TWO YEARS” the test result will remain valid. To appear in the test, the candidates with a minimum of sixteen years of education are eligible. In order to improve their previous GAT Score, the candidates who are intending, can also apply.
The other specified criteria of the Universities or HEC schemes, the candidates will have to qualify. In the premises of the test center, mobile phones are not allowed.
From 1st January 2007 and onwards, for TWO YEARS, as per the HEC policy decision, the validity of the GAT Test (GAT General or Subject), will be effective.
