Arfa Karim Randhawa was born at 2 February 1995 and became the first Pakistani youngest Microsoft Certified professional at the age of nine. She has been honored by Bill Gates for visiting Microsoft headquarters in the USA. Moreover, a Science park has been name after her and the new name of this park is Arfa Software Technoogy Park.
In 2005, Arfa Karim had been presented with the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of technology and science by the ex-Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz. Moreover, she had also been awarded with President Pride of Performance Award in 2005. She was the youngest recipient of this award and the awards were here recognition. After that in 2010, Arfa was made the brand ambassador for Pakistan Telecommunication Company’s 3G Wireless Broadband service named EVO.
Arfa had represented Pakistan at various international forums and we cannot forget her. She cannot be forgotten from our hearts as she had made deep parts in the hearts of Pakistanis. She died, by wake of cardiac attack, at Saturday night in January 2012. She was the treasure of Pakistan and is unforgettable.
