When the students pass their intermediate exams (Pre-Engineering) then they applies for admission in the engineering and technology colleges and universities. The will have to appear in the test formulated for grant of admission in the engineering colleges and university which is called Engineering College Admission test.
The entry test is also approved by the Pakistan Engineering Council and it is considered must for the admission in the engineering colleges and universities. The candidates who appear in this test, will have to qualify in this test then their total marks obtained in this test are mixed with their total marks in FSc (Pre-Engineering) and make the merit list for which candidates are given admission. The syllabus of this entry test is designed on the basis of 4 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English or equivalent exams.
